Optimist Club of West Bend
Optimist Club of West Bend - With their upbeat attitude, Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be. Each Optimist Club determines the needs of the young people in its community and conducts programs to meet those needs. Every year, Optimists conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people.
Purposes - To develop optimism as a philosophy of life utilizing the tenets of the Optimist Creed; to promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs; to inspire respect for the law; to promote patriotism and work for international accord and friendship among all people; to aid and encourage the development of youth, in the belief that the giving of one’s self in service to others will advance the well-being of humankind, community life and the world.

As a non-profit, we are run solely on sponsorships, fundraising, and donations. Every time you attend a DWBA event like the downtown Farmers' Market, Music on Main or Wine Walk on Main, you are helping the DWBA keep your downtown a center for the community and West Bend businesses. Our goal is to help support local downtown business while creating fun and exciting events that highlight what makes downtown West Bend so special. Our focus is to provide the community with fun and family friendly events that highlight our historic Downtown and all it has to offer!
